From what I can gather, even though Uganda has the largest portion of the Impenitrable Forest and hence, more viewing oportunities, my research shows it seems far more dangerous than Rwanda. Has anyone gone on escorted trips to either place? Are you escorted by armed rangers (not a new experience for me)? Basically I'm looking for suggestions on tour companies, etc. I know the spam rules so email me, please if you have any recomendations. Thanks in advance.....Feed Source: www.aardvarktravel.net TRAVEL MATE(S) FIJI, SINGAPUR, PHUKET - Hi,

Popular bullfight in which the fighters dress ... Morgat, Brittany (with a few pics) - Hi all
I just got back from Morgat, a lovely little seaside resort on the peninsula just south of Brest. Very safe and relatively quiet main beach, with plenty of other quieter beaches (not that the main beach got that busy anyway) dotted around. Great for a family holiday, and more French than some of the usual Brittany haunts. Here's a handful of pictures for you to enjoy
Dinard (where we stopped for one night on our journey down)

I live in Barcelona and they have created a lovely public transport.
It is a system that you pay 24 per year and you can rent a bicycle. There are bicycle station points all over Barcelona where you can pick up your bicy or return it
I think is a lovely idea. It is very cheap, you can see the city while you are travelling, it is healthy, there are not so many cars in the road, so I can only see advantages
Is there similar systems any where else apart from Amsterdam?.... When in ROME: Restaurants in Rome - here are some restaurants i would recommend when in Rome :)
of course these are just a few i have been to so feel free to post your own, im sure it will help others as well who will rome in Rome :)
ssaggini whcih is Roman pastas and risottos and what they do at this restaurant is they keep bringing more food over and over again until you can not eat any more . so if you don't have an apatite, do not bother going there :).... travel within spain - hello everbody. sorry for another question that might seem uterly stupid and of course sorry for my english.
I was wondering how easy, convinient is it to travel within spain? I have only been to barcelona and madrid and i was wanting to see much more. How expensive/ inexpensive is it to travel between regions? I remember that in Munich it was fairly inexpensive to travel between the region of Bavaria to lets say Vienna or Zurich, is it much the same and just as easy or there needs to be more planning in order to plan the trip from barcelona to the northern parts of spain.
thanks a bunch. preciate it.... Calling all Barcelona Lovers! - Right.
I've got to write a 4000 essay in Spanish about Barcelona / something in the Spanish news.
Any ideas anyone for something really interesting!?!?!
So far I've had; Gaudi and how his works have helped shaped Catalan identity, the Catalan language stuggle with Spanish and something about the Spanish Civil War.

Thanks in advance..... Hello from Sinking Spring, Pa - The first question you might ask is where is Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania? It's located just outside of Reading. It's a boring and slow town with not much going on besides a few small bars (haha). A one horse town if you will.
I have been learning Computer Science with a Business Background in hopes of moving somewhere more exciting. Like the Bahamas or Jamaica. I know it sounds like a farfetched dream but it's a work in progress. I also hope to learn about the greater lesser known travel spots as well. It's a learning experience to say the least. Sorry for the boring dribble.
-Ross.... Armchair Trip Around the World - What could be more 'budget' than an armchair trip around the world? Especially for an 80th Birthday and a 78th one. Please help us make A Special Birthday Armchair Trip For a Very Special Couple by sending, via snail-mail, a postcard picturing your area of the world or one you've visited to my folks:
Jack and Louise Pegg, 50 Vine Street, Danville, PA 17821, USA
During World War II Jack, my dad, spent time in several countries and on the seas. Since then Dads life has been devoted to work, family and community service, with little time for travel. Over the years he has regaled family and friends with stories of his experiences with the wonderful people he met in other countries as well as using the friendly phrases in other languages that he had learned. Mom has been his ardent supporter and helpmate all along the way.
Mom and Dad, enjoy short trips when possible, but there are many places they would still like to experience.... Which type of Spanish should you learn? - For budget travellers heading to South America
Before I travelled to South America I went to my local library and hired a CD and Book called "Learning Spanish". I found out very quickly that I was in fact learning the wrong type of Spanish!! I was learning 'Spain' Spanish - whereas, I should have been learning 'Latin American' Spanish.
Grammatically, both forms are almost exact. There are some words which are slightly different between Spain and South America. BUT, the main difference is the pronunciation between these native speakers.
In Spain there is greater emphasis on the THH sound. So a word such as 'cinco' (five) is pronounced "THH-inco". In Latin America the same word is pronounced "Ss -inco". It is an important distinction.
So make sure you learn the style of Spanish which is suited to your destination....
